Events
St Tom’s runs many events and programs running throughout the year. Some of them include:
Christianity Explained
Christianity Explained is a seven-week course that runs on Monday nights starting on 13th February 2012. You’ll be able to find out more about what Christians believe – and be able to ask the questions you always wanted to ask!

Good News Week is an annual community event for the people of Cranebrook and Castlereagh which runs in the Easter school holidays. It includes mid-week activities for school-aged children (such as Kids Club, Sports Clinic, Dance Clinic and Craft Clinic), the Family Fun Day on Saturday and Church in the Park and Church in the Dark on Sunday.

The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course is a very practical, seven-week course for couples. It aims to give any married couple (or any couple in a long-term relationship, such as a de-facto relationship) the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. Over seven evenings spent together, couples talk about important issues that can get swept under the carpet in the rush of daily life.
Privacy as a couple is always respected. There is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.
The course, while based on Christian principles, is very helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.

The Big Weekend (TBW) is the time when we join as one church under God to learn and fellowship together. In 2011, TBW is moving to Merroo Conference Centre at Kurrajong. It’s a great opportunity to learn from God’s word, relax and fellowship with one another.
Carols in the Park
Carols in the Park is another opportunity for St Tom’s to give something back to the community of Cranebrook. Every year, thousands of people attend and enjoy the BBQ dinner, short talk, Christmas carols and fireworks display. It’s a great opportunity for the community to get together!
Join the community of Cranebrook at Carols in the Park on Saturday 17th December, starting with a sausage sizzle at 6pm. You’ll find everything happening in the park on the corner of Borrowdale Way and Callisto Drive, Cranebrook.
